A brand refresh gives me the chance to flex my graphic design skills and dust off the good ole Riso Gocco printer. I hand print all the packaging myself (drawstring bags & hangtags) and the gocco makes it a breeze.
The new logo and packaging are inspired by bauhaus principles of clean geometric forms and balanced visual composition that also translate into the embroidery and structural forms of my jewelry. It also is a nod to The Memphis Group, a group of Italian designers who's work in the early 80s dominated the scene with their post modernist work. Their work is often described as Bauhaus meets Fischer Price. So amazing!
